2003 Active Life, Human LifeEco incidente - Eco Realidades.Museo de arte contemporáneo del Zulia. Vida activa-vida human (Active Life, Human Life) was an action-installation that was developed with the participation of visitors. It begun with a blank panel, a table with a bunch of transparent hose tied in a bow form with colored seeds inside, with the words from Hannah Arend text, and a hammer and nails.
The work was developed with the participation of visitors. A quote of Arendt was written in each hose: The "active life" human life far is actively engaged in doing something.
The encounter with the Hannah Arendt philosophy was so important in the development of the installation Active Life, human life by Zavarce, (2003), the work was conceptualized as product of reflection of the role of the art and the political events of 2002 in the country. Then immersed in an atmosphere of strikes, marches, setbacks, violent clashes and confusion. The work was assembled with a device that triggered the action and participation, a political gesture that combines the symbolic function of the experimentation of limits or boundaries.
